Policy

01

Local data

PlainHabit stores habits, targets, schedules, history, reminders and preferences locally on your device.

No account is required. PlainHabit is designed to work without sending habit history to a PlainHabit server.

02

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, PlainHabit asks for read access to supported health types so compatible habits can be filled automatically.

Supported read data can include steps, walking or running distance, active energy, sleep, dietary water, workouts and mindful minutes. PlainHabit does not write to Apple Health in this release.

Apple Health permissions can be changed in iOS Settings or Apple Health.

03

Permissions and device features

Notifications are used for local reminders when you enable them.

Biometric or passcode lock settings are stored on device using platform secure storage.

Widgets, Lock Screen and Live Activities display habit information you choose to track in PlainHabit.

04

Export and deletion

PlainHabit includes local export and deletion actions in Settings.

Export creates a local JSON snapshot of PlainHabit data. Deletion clears local PlainHabit data in the app. Apple Health records remain managed by Apple Health.
